Uncapping Tank

The perfect uncapping solution for the small scale beekeeper. A built-in wooden crossbar provides a surface to rest your frames while you uncap and a generous size tank holds uncapped frames so you may continue to work. Tank holds 17 gallons of cappings.

The Betterbee uncapping tank is popular amongst our customers and includes a 1-1/4″ plastic honey gate with a pre-drilled hole in the tank to ensure your retain as much honey as possible.

How to Use:

Simply place a frame over the wooden crossbar and uncap into the tank. The honey separates from the cappings through the grate located in the bottom of the tank.

Notes:

• Does not include the tank lid. Shop the uncapping tank cover
• Best used with medium-sized frames
• Remove metal grate, clean, and dry thoroughly after use to reduce corrosion of the metal
