Plastic Honey Gate

Use these honey gates to make your own honey tank. When you install a honey gate on your own pail, use a hole saw.

IMPORTANT: You MUST USE ONLY food-approved, white plastic tanks when making your own honey tank.

For a 1-1/4 inch gate use 1-5/8 inch hole saw, for 1-1/2 inch gate use 2 inch hole saw and for a 2 inch gate use 2-3/8 inch hole saw.

1-1/4″ Specifications

• Inside diameter: 1-1/4″
• Outside diameter of threads: approx. 1-5/8″
• Hole size to drill: 1-5/8″
• Nominal thread size: NPS 1-1/4
• O-ring size: ORING1 1.96″ OD x 1.72″ ID x 1/8″
• Gasket size for thread seal: GASKET1 1-3/8″ ID

1-1/2″ Specifications

• Inside diameter: 1-1/2″
• Outside diameter of threads: approx. 1-13/16″
• Hole size to drill: 1-7/8″ or 2″
• Nominal thread size: NPS 1-1/2
• O-ring size: ORING2 2.11″ OD x 1.9″ ID x 1/8″
• Gasket size for thread seal: GASKET2 1-3/4″ ID

2″ Specifications

• Inside diameter: 2″
• Outside diameter of threads: approx. 2-1/4″
• Hole size to drill: 2-3/8″
• Nominal thread size: NPS 2
• O-ring size: ORING3 2.63″ OD by 2.3″ ID x 0.016″
• Gasket size for thread seal: GASKET3 2-1/4″ ID
