BeeMax Shim

Shims are a versatile hive component used to create 1 1/2″ space between the brood chamber and honey supers. This space can be used for feeding (fondant, dry sugar, pollen patties, and winter patties), or to allow introduction of medications.

• Outside length: 21 1/4″
• Outside width: 17 3/4″
• Height: 1 1/2″

Notes:

• ONLY works with BeeMax 10 frame hives (shop 10 frame wooden hives)

• Product comes unassembled, but are pre-drilled and include screws

• The entrance can be sealed with a plug which can be removed for a winter entrance or for ventilation in the summer
