2′ Hardware Cloth

Without galvanized hardware cloth on hand, you might find yourself out at your apiary, muttering, “If only I had galvanized hardware cloth it would be perfect for….” Don’t get stuck in a pinch, pick from our #8 mesh which bees can’t breech, or our #2 mesh which is great for mouse guards.

#2 Mesh

• 2 openings per inch
• Wire thickness: 19 gauge wire or .041 inches
• Great at keeping mice out of the hive

#8 Mesh

• 8 openings per inch
• Wire thickness: 27 gauge wire or .017 inches
• Great for varroa screens, moving screens, double screens and robber screens

Notes:

• The size of the mesh refers to the number of wires per inch
• All of our rolls are 36″ wide. Choose from a 24″ x 36″ inch roll of #8 or #2 cloth.
