10 Frame Betterbee Shim

Shims are a versatile hive component used to create 1 1/2″ space between the brood chamber and honey supers. This space can be used for feeding (fondant, dry sugar, pollen patties, and winter patties), or to allow introduction of medications.

Dimensions:

• 19-7/8″ x 16-1/4″ x 1-1/2″

Notes:

• Product comes unassembled, but are pre-drilled and include screws

• Works with 10 frame wooden hives, but can be used on BeeMax hives as well

• The entrance can be sealed with a plug which can be removed for a winter entrance or for ventilation in the summer
